Not that I've been able to figure out. I know it will make Theora/Ogg video with the OGG wrapper.
It doesn't look to me like this would be a good transcoder anyway. About the closest thing I found was ffmpeg2theora, but that isn't NSV. It looks like they'res supposed to be some sort of support for NSV, but I haven't found anything but vague reference to it. It does play NSV, but with VP6?. VLC supports NSV streams but last I checked you needed to use VP3.

Most linux distros have a widget that will allow you to load VFW drivers (dll's). I'm not sure about VLC or VP6, but I can watch Windows media (wmv and the like) with kplayer on linux.
This is probably, mostly legal, cause you'd probably have to own windows to get the dll. Global Movies and TV God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to hide the bodies of people who pissed me off. |

If it's using VLC the logical choice of video format would be h.264, after all x264 is being developed by videolan.
Fuck this place. |

or Theora....
Despite what everyone says, VP3/Theora is not that bad of a codec. It's very stable and if you have enough bandwidth, it looks really good.
