Streamripper question

hiya peeps,
I am stuck in a turmoil...here's the deal!

I downloaded winamp's streamripper plugin and from shoutcast.com I started to stream songlist and with the streamripper I am able to rip the stream. But the problem is - As ya'll know, there are two options for rippin the stream
1. Rip the stream's songs as seperate songs
2. Rip the stream as one single chunk of file

so, I tried option 1 and somehow the song is cuttin off at the end after like 3min 50 secs -(approx)which becomes a file and the rest portion is continuing in the next part(like when the guy says "Hits Radio.com") which itself becomes a small file

Now the second option, is to compile the song into one big file. I dont have any problem with this one big file if I am able to break up at the end of each song. Is there an automatic way of splitting file at the end of each song?? Please give your suggestions!
