Sound Card/DirectSound Question...
In my DirectSound Output/Configure/Device/Device info: under "Soundblaster Live 24 bit" it states hardware mixing is supported, as opposed to my "USB Speakers" which states hardware mixing is not supported.
Where can I find a detailed explanation regarding hardware mixing... It's an automated radio related query and I'm looking to have 3 audio sources each controllable separately as if they were 3 separate sound cards, along the lines of soundblaster 1, sound blaster 2, etc., etc. Any help in this regard gratefully accepted, and my apologies if this post is in the wrong forum.
