hi i need help it it is possible!
hi everyone!!
i have a radio station - with 25 broadcasters we are operating in israel - and we have like in average 200 listeners every day. in the last few weeks, some people that hate to see someone succeeding, hackers attack my radio! i need please it is is possible for someone to explain to me, how can i hide the address of the server we are brodacasting to. my web page of the radio is http://www.radio-idan.co.il and i have seen a radio that broadcast through shoutcast and the server is hidden like in http://www.wfm.co.il if someone can explain to me how can i do the same i will apprechiate so much !!! thank you idan levy! |

they cant hack your station tho. |

The problem is, your radio can't be heard if you can't be "seen" -- that is to say if your station's IP is not given somewhere, no one can get to it.
The link to your site did not work for me, so I can't give feedback on what you could do better, but off the top of my head, using HTTPd redirects is a good idea, because you can config an HTTPd to perform differential redirects based on the request[ors] IP, useragent, or domain -- or you can create your own launch files [pls, m3u, ram, etc...] that help disguise your station IP from browsers, but not from bots... Maybe more details about "how" you are being hacked and attacked may yield more solutions to your issue. |
