oh no i get a bad bad error
winamp used to always work fine, im on windows XP
but one time while a song was paused i accidently hit the power butotn and my computer shut off, since then i been getting a windows error when i try to play a mp3 and windows says the program must close (its the knid where i can or say no to sending a "error report") i tried reinstalling winamp but this didnt work anyone have any ideas maybe? |

next time you get error report, click more info report back what it says, we need the two lines that start with:
appname:winamp |

it looks like gen_ml.dll correct? IF so, you have a corrupt media library.
With Winamp closed, delete the "winamp\plugins\ml" folder and "winamp\plugins\gen_ml.ini". This will restore all default ML settings next time you open Winamp (note, the ML database will also be wiped). If that doesnt work, confirm you are doing clean install here |
