New Video Card Blues
I have tried numerous times to get NSV to stream from this new ATI 'All in Wonder' Radeon 9600XT.
I have been streaming for a long time with the ATI 'All in Wonder Pro 128'. Using On2 codecs I can get some amazing results with the 128. Each time I click 'Start Capture' I get 'cannot render video preview stream' as if the card was in use somewhere else but I assure you it isn't. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening?? I am using a legit version of XP Pro with Service Pack 2 and all updates. All in all with this OS nothing works very well at all. But the inability to capture with NSV irks me the most. I can capture with Ulead video studio no problem. Last edited by Picker999; 13th September 2005 at 09:21. |

Try turning all of your new found video acceleration off. Maybe even including the overlay mode. You are using very obsolete software.
Hasn't been updated in a few years... If the machine is fast enough, you might not notice a problem. Global Movies and TV God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to hide the bodies of people who pissed me off. |

I've found that with certain hardware setups and whatnot, you can't be previewing the stream while you capture. Turn off the preview and it should still work with all the acceleration and whatnot activated (I think... at least that's how I have to do it).
