server disconnects during x-fade

hi,
streaming with use of SAM, SAM Encoder at 128 k and 64 k.
One stream pushed to server in Germany. Two pulled from servers within same network. Noticed that stream pulled at 128 k sometimes disconnects during x-fade of songs and only during x-fade, never at other instances. anybody ever experienced something similar or any idea why? server or software related issue?
