shoutcast hosting

Hi,

I'm lookin for a cheap shoutcast hosting.

People recommend streamguys but they are too expansive (100 listeners with 128 kbps = 400$us monthly!!!)

Why that expansive?

prices will vary all over the net but look for a price you can afford and make sure the support is upto speed,

check the feedback link below for examples of how it should be

Those two hosts are not nearly of the same caliber. They cater to two different markets as well.

Find a host that is a good balance of price vs quality. Unfortunately in the streaming market, below certain rates you definately get what you pay for.

http://shoutcast.serverroom.us/ is not cheaper. 128k @ 4.25/listener monthly for 100 listeners makes them more expensive than streamguys.

Why not try http://www.spam.com ? Their rates are quite low.
