SBLive! card incompat. with plugins

i have a PIII-700 with ASUS TNT2(Model64)
128 ram........i tried several plugins and
i think it is the bass does not recognise in
the plugin, as on exactly same pc(my mates)
with an awe64 it runs as it should....
Does any1 have same trouble.........
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have win2000 and an sb live! together on the same computer, and i've never had a problem with any plugin.
