Lag with line in

Please get better support for the line in function that winamp has!!!!
(linein://) it seems odd to have to do that to open up the line for audio... and when I do it, I get almost 2 seconds of lag. and the bad thing is I like to set up a screen at parties and run visualization.. when I hook up the line in, and open it up in winamp, it plays and doese fine except for the 1.7 second lag, and the 0.2 seconds between visualization is drawn onto the screen. it seems like there's a crappy computer runing the visualization.... I just want to use winamp's MANY awsome plugins for visualization for parties.

I've written a plugin for WinAMP that uses LineIn and it has some more features than WinAMP. It currently isn't for download yet on WinAMP.com (atleast not the new version). So you'll have to download it from: http://home.hccnet.nl/th.v.d.gronde/
This won't simply make it faster (atleast not that I know of, but I've never tested). But it works well with VIS plugins and gives you some more control over the sound, so you can fine-tune it.
