Question Something Diabolical

is it just me or have the bloodhound gang started to really suck lately? (case in point : their new album "hefty fine") i mean come on, is it just me or have they become pseudo-pop since the release of "hooray for boobies"? they were never meant to be popular so why are they trying? and why does the song i'm playing (the one in the thread title) sound so fucking techno? i listen to bloodhound gang for one thing : white boy rap with skill.
have they changed?
do they suck more now than when "one fierce beer coaster" or "use your fingers" came out..
opinions?

SPOILER : they could have sucked more, example, the song "foxtrot uniform charlie kilo" spells out the word fuck, probably the reason for the name (not an answer to this thread obviously)

I hate everyone, so you don't have to.

"Bad Touch" is a fave of the kids, they get to act like monkeys with my consent. Also, "put your hands down my pants and I bet you'll feel nuts" are the coolest lyrics ever to a 6 year old.

When I picked up the album I considered taking it to the counter, but it was (from memory) Lamchop by Nixon that won out.

Thankfully...

I quite liked "I Wish I Was Queer So I Could Get Chicks" and "Going Nowhere Slow". That was an entertaining CD.

You mean they existed before "Bad Touch"? I never thought to check out their discog, but then life is somewhat on the short side...

I'd like to hear "Pet Sounds" before I die, that'll be marginally more important.

The album's called "One Fierce Beer Coaster". They do a track with Vanilla Ice on there, too, it's alright. And a cover of "It's Tricky" which is good, too. I think that my favourite tracks from that are probably "Lift Your Head Up High (And Blow Your Brains Out)" and "Shut Up", though.

They do have some pretty good stuff, the album I mentioned above is alright, it has high points and low points. They have a bad habit of messing up their music in order to fit in another cheap joke.

Everybody loves me, it's like a universal constant or something.

No more music for me though, I am completely deaf after going to a Squarepusher gig tonight.
