Software: Winamp 2.62 and W2k.
If I disable the "Associate with audio CDs", close the prefs dialog, open it again this feature is still enabled. I tried to close WinAmp after disabling this feature, but it did not help. The question is: What helps? |

I was having this same problem with version 2.64 under Windows NT 4.0 and finally managed to fix it by doing the following:
1) Open the "File types" options by opening a folder, clicking the "view" menu, then selecting the "options" item. 2) click the "File Types" tab, then scroll the list until you see "Audio CD". 3) Select it and click the "Edit" button on the right. 4) If "Play" appears in the "Actions" list at the bottom, select it and click the "Remove" botton. This procedure seems to have fixed it for me and hopefully will be of some help to you.
quote:
Originally posted by jiippana: Software: Winamp 2.62 and W2k.
