Intro file...
Hello all,
I was snooping in the Shoutcast config file, and noticed that there is an area to specify an intro file. I really like the idea of having an intro file, so I decided to follow the directions provided, and then specified an mp3 file. When I test my stream... it doesn't work... it just starts playing the music. Am I doing something wrong? Here's what the code in my config file looks like: ; IntroFile=D:\STREAMING RADIO\music_files\scpromo.mp3 As you can see, I just used one of the Shoutcast files as a test. Can anyone help make this work for me? |

likely it failed to find your intro file or doesn't have permission to read it.
Please also make sure the intro file is encoded to the same bitrate samplerate and channel as your stream. -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |

Let's not forget, remove the semicolon from the front.
