Best Sound Card To Get?
Okay, I figured that I would finally just give up on the troubles of Creative. Well, first off, let me ask this: is it even possible that it is a soundcard issue that is causing the sound to either get real loud or get real low? Could it be something else that is causing the volume to randomly increase or decrease? I ask because my Sound Blaster Audigy just recently started to do this so I figured it was a soundcard issue. So I bought the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Z2 Gamer edition and the volume decreases on it's own.
If it is indeed a soundcard issue, I wanted to know what would be the best sound card to go with. DJ Egg suggested to other people to get Turtle Beach Santa Cruz but according to their website, it isn't even a product they sell. I only saw three soundcards. The website, http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/products/soundcards/ has other stuff, though. Which one of those should I get? How do I know if it is compatible with my motherboard? If Creative's soundcards keep giving me audio problems, then I should get my money back and buy something that a) works, and b) is better. |

I have a SB Audigy meyself, and forcing it to play loud has made me a master of manipulating the Equalizer
I know that Audigy is a so-so card, but I don't feel like changing mine.
