Equalizer - frequency values more equidistant
The equalizer has strange jumps between the values given. From 60 to 170 Hz, that's nearly triple. From 170 to 310 Hz is nearly double. From 310 to 600 Hz is nearly double, 600 to 1K is a little less than double, 1K to 3K is triple, 3K to 6K is double, 6K to 12K is double, 12K to 14K is almost the same, and 14K to 16K is also almost the same (and even closer to each other). The human ear can't really detect 60 Hz or 16 KHz that easily. I suggest having these bands:
30, 60, 120, 250, 500, 1K, 2K, 4K, 8K, and 16K. This way, they are more equally spaced from each other (logarithmically anyway). You could also delete the 14K and replace it with 2K and change the 3K to 4K to get it more equidistant. void BlueWater() {water.color=blue; while(GameRunning) {if (fox.pos == InBlueWater) {fox.air--; FoxDrown(fox.air);} else {fox.air=1800; fox.flags = WantsToGetWet; } WaitFrames(1); }} // My top favorite thing in 2D Sonic (as C) |
