Boa, the english band, not the Korean one. they did the theme to Serial Experiments Lain. Their first album is fantastic.

To me shpongle, Narnia Viking Skull and Vintersorg is very big, but at the same time I am a metal fanatic.
I love the band Moonsorrow, but to me it is very big. To my friends it is just a nobody-band.

Anyway, the german band excrementory grindfuckers is fantastic. Intestinal Disgorge is ok too.

(Sorry bout the spelling, IÂ´m swedish)

Thanks for reminding me. That's one of several songs I need to delete from my hard drive. It was on some compilation cd. I first heard it at some night spot. I think it's older than 5 years though.

They're a Swedish thrash metal band I saw at Ozzfest 2005 that has a sound similar to Slayer (Although they're not a band that plays at 200mph like Slayer

)...My friend Bernard, who listens to some of the most obscure metalcore bands in this world, hasn't even heard of them...

They're a pretty cool alternative rock band from Australia...I've never heard of them until my cousin Justin told me about them and I looked up their Myspace band page...Some interesting stuff Down Under that's different from the American acts...

The Bloodhound Gang has had songs on popular radio. I think that pretty much disqualifies them.

I didn't even notice any karsh kale songs on my windows XP installations, but I'll take your word for it. Royksopp's Eple plays when OSX tiger installs.

and I'll offer up Honeyroot as a band I like that no one's heard of.

Karsh Kale is one guy, that's his name. He makes music that's a mix of traditional indian and western electronica. Very cool stuff. I found out about him through a friend of mine who is Indian.

Now that you mention SpineShank, I remeber a friend of mine telling me about them like 6-8 years ago. Not that I know what they sound like, though I suppose I could make a good guess based on the name.
