isp cache NAK error Adelphia cable

I am getting that dreaded NAK error out of nowhere lately. I did not change a single thing on my computer/configuration/cable modem/router etc. I checked all the suggestions in the error message on what to disable, and read all the recommended sites on this, and all I have left as a possibility is "disable ... isp cache" Is there any easy way of telling if my ISP is somehow blocking the connection/ports?
I don't see much info on "isp cache". I even tried re-installing the Shoutcast server and WinAmp and Shoutcast plugins. Anyone else using Adelphia (cable) "High Speed Internet"? Is your stream still working? I don't want to contact Adelphia at this point, as many ISPs have written in their fine print that you cannot use your connection as a server. My assigned (dynamic) IP has not changed and is still the same. I'm in Cleveland, Ohio if that helps too. Thanks much.

I'm having a similar problem. I have been using SHOUTcast for some time... I had this nak problem before, forward the ports and everything else. But this 'NAK' error has come out of no where. I tryed to connect and this error come through, but, the ports are forward through my router. This time i do not know what to do at all.

Tried using other ports? Ones that they may not block?

Ok, say you were using Port 8000 you would need to enable port forwarding on your router for Ports: 8000 and 8001 (this is if you are using port 8000)

Also:

DISABLE YOUR PC FIREWALLS UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM ACCEPT SHOUTcast!

Also2: Look at my sig , a quote from Drewbar :P

Thanks! I took a chance and tried port 8100 and it now works. That was a question I forgot to ask, being, I wanted to try a different port number, but I don't know which other ports are safe to use. Is 8100 or any other number just safe to plug in and use? I don't want conflicts or block ports I shouldn't be using. Thanks. I still wonder why 8000 will no longer work.
