Greetings,
I am using Winamp 2.666 to play my audio CD's, however I am behind a firewall and unable to access CDDB. So, thanks to another message, I found out how to disable CDDB lookups as it was causing the program to try and download the disc information between every song. This worked well, however, the program still has a delay: it plays the first 6 or 7 seconds of the song, then restarts the song and continues along fine. Is there something that I am missing? Is there a way to disable this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check out this thread. the only difference is that you have your sound buffer set longer than they do, so you hear more of the track before it skips back and starts over.
