Same IP using more than 1 slot?

I notice from time to time users using more than 1 slot at a time. Does some software stream recorders use 2 slots to record a stream? Just trying to figure why this happens. I've banned the IP for them only to use a new IP in the same subnet. Without banning the whole subnet I would figure out if there is a legit reason why someone uses two slots. Thanks.

could be a ripper or it could be someone in an office thats told his friend next door to check out your radio...
