ShoutCast via LAN

Hi fellows!
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to run my own radio station on a PC without internet connection so the other users from my LAN (Local Area Network) can listen to it?

Hello,

Yes, this will work like a charme. Just put the server in private mode (so it won't try to ping yp.shoutcast) and provide the LAN address of the machine where people will connect (I do serve my office like this).
