I have a 100 mbps Server not working anymore. HELP !!!
Ok ... I got a deal and managed to get my hands on a 100 mbps server to broadcast. Everything worked great for a month or so ... the guy had set it up right ... worked with no problems. I had acess to the server files, I connected via FTP and could change stuff ... config file ... etc. Now ... I simply can't connect to it anymore. The address is http://195.62.10.64:8000. If at that time I got this in the IE web browser it showed info about the server ... etc ... the usual stuff ... even if I didn't broadcast to it it showed that nobody is broadcasting to it. Now it sais nothing ... like it doesn't exist.
I can't seem to find the guy either for weeks. I still have access to the FTP .. the files are still there ... everything looks the same.I can edit files ... Delete stuff, anythign. Could it be that the sc_serv is not ON or something ?? Since I have access to everything ... how can I make it work again ? I am a bit newbish about the whole thing ... Thanks. |

you need to login to the shell and start the server. You won't be able to do this from FTP.

We do not provide tech support for other perople's services... contact your server "guy" and he can help you. Otherwise, follow the how-to's posted on this board and set up your own shoutcast.
