shape texture wrapping bug(?)
hey redi, been playing with the new features
came across a kinda odd effect - if you move the x/y of a texture, the wrapping at the edges of the resulting texture uses the standard wrap first, not the wrap type specified for the shape - which gets applied to the edges of the x/y adjusted texture. if that makes sense. it can make some neat effects, but i don't think this was intentional? |

as for the x/y movment of video echo... i was kinda thinking of making video echo into.... well not sure what to call it, but like...humm how to say... like its own preset on top of yours... kinda... i wanna make orent into angle, and add dx/dy mabye sx/sy. i've also been contemplating giving the option of where to draw waves/shapes, and not just in backround or not, like it is now, i mean i wanna make it so you can draw each wave/shape on any of the textures in memory(backdrop, this frame, shape textures, and mabye video echo. i think it would look pretty cool to have glowsticks traped in a box, or a shape that only shows up in video echo....
it might be awhile before i have time to implement any of this, as i now work full time, and i'm building a website for a friend for a buisness, and i need to make a site for my cousin concerning my grandfather and this club he use to own in new jersey... as for the "bug", i cant say i ment for it to work that way, but it does look cool.. i'm not sure theres a way to wrap/miror during the text movement as the wrap is applied during the render call, and the movement is done before... i guess i could find a way to manualy wrap...although i'm not really sure how that would work Blah! |
