Try this:
(with WaveOut as the selected Output plugin in Winamp). Open winamp. Turn the volume all the way to the top (in Winamp). Open an mp3file and play it. Open the mixer in Windows. Turn the Wave-volume half way down. Play another mp3 in winamp. The wave-volume in the Windows Mixer is now set to what the slider in Winamp is positioned to... Shouldn't be hard to fix, simply check the wave volume frequently... ------------------ Hiroshima-45, Watergate-74, Windows-95 |

actually i think it's supposed to be that way, or at least i like it better that way. the volume controls in winamp are supposed to override and automatically adjust those in the windows controls. this is the same with other mp3 players too, like musicmatch and sonique.
