Anyone else not like some of the reviewers?

My last skin got a crapy 2 stars and I think it deserved far better, its at least a 4 star skin!

Yeah I know I mentioned that in the General descusion forum, just nit pickin ya know!

Plus there are alot of recent 5 star skins in the game section that are crap in my opinion! Wot is up with these reviewers would someone pleaze tell me! If they dont like the particular subject of the skin or like the subject of the skin so much that they over rate the skin then they should just pass it to someone else who can rate it fairly based on how well it is made.

I think some sort of reviewing points system should be shown in reviews after the reviewers comments to show how the reviewer came to his/her conclusion on the final overall rating using the same 5 star thing e.g.

Design (does it look good)
Functionability (does all the buttons line up and work properly)
Originallity (Is it ripped off or is it original)
Overall score (the average of the stars given to the above points)

There could be other things to rate aswell to determin the overall score, I think this would make reviews much clearer on why the revier gave it the score they gave. It would also be advisable that reviewers dont be biased in their reviews just because they happen to love/hate the particular subject/game/anime/brand name/person on the skin.

I dont know either, the reviewer could at least have explained that comment cos I'm taking it harshly!
I can tell ya that there is f**k all wrong with the EQ, though the screen shot seems to show an odd white line under each slider for some reason which I garentee does not show like that when being used!

ACK, skinning programs! w00t!!!

Skinning Programs = The Devils Tools!!!

Please refrian from using those damn programs, there is enough crapy skins just litirally churned out from those things and they allways suck unless they are heavely edited which makes it a worthless thing to do have used the program in the first place!

Its best to make your skins from scratch in an image editor of some kind (not Windows Paint, it sux). I use 2 programs called Microsoft Image Composer and Micrografix Picture Publisher. They aint as good as Adobe Photo Shop 5.5 (the dogs ballz of image editors, w00t!

) but they do the job anyway.

Well I agree some skinz a really being rated wrong... but then again... who the f*ck cares... you post your skin a this site because you want it here... so if you recieve a bad rating... It's your own fault... then you should have created a skin that the reviewer liked...

I guess it depends on the reviewer, I submitted one of my skins and got 4 stars, later, i posted an update and got 3..

The guy who reviewed mine said it is good but to go copy what everyone else is doing for more stars haha no thanks. I thought stars went for new ideas not copies.

The point is that when I send in a skin I expect it to be reviewed fairly compared to the rest of the reviews on the site. I doesnt seem right that one skin that is clearly crap and no where near as good is given a higher rating than another that is far better. It just doesnt seem fair!

I agree with you Neo. The reviewers are really starting to suck. They seem to be more partial to the themes of the skins, rather than how much work was put into it. I put a lot of work into my skin and, like yourself, got 2 measley stars. And everything was skinned! Yup it bites. Yours definitely deserves more than 2 also. And I think "tangible EQs" is a compliment, though I'm not totally sure what it means.
