The Right font - need help
hello, i am a graphic designer. i am just about to publish my second winamp skin(classic). I am sort of in a dilemma as to how to choose a font for the skin.(text.bmp) All the fonts i tried look poor at lower resolution too. I even tried pixel fonts which too did not look too good. Usually which fonts are used? less than 7-pixel pixel fonts or aliased normal fonts with size less than 7 pixels? Where can i get them.?
*Preferably i want something more or less rounded that goes along with the smooth curves that i have on my design. any help is welcome. regards, Light. Last edited by Light; 3rd March 2006 at 11:28. |

It's a very very tricky area to be creative in and get it looking good at the same time.
Have you tried a site like this, they have a good selection of Pixel fonts... http://www.minifonts.com/ |

there is every chance it was created by hand, I made my font that I now use on all of my skins by hand,
You could try to email the author of that skin and ask if you can use the text.bmp | looking for my old skins, can you help???? | riksruin | | www.alternativestyles.co.uk | riksruin.deviantart.com |
