I want to make my own skins but I dont know how, could someone tell me how to get started? Thanx

A real good idea is to go the the develeoper
section of this site...

I haven't officially made a skin (yet), but this is how i'd do it...

i'd download the original base skin (which you can download from the developer area)... then i'd open up the files in photoshop, and set that stuff as a layer... and create a layer on top of that.. i'd draw the stuff on the that was created.

that's how i'd do it.. it seems the easiest way to do it to me.
