My Winamp5 Concerns
1. The Playlist Editor in Winamp3 had a clickable bar that slid the window a bit to reveal other playlists. I want it back!
2a. When a large amount of files are added to the PE or Media Library, each file is checked over by Winamp, mainly each file's duration and ID3 information. It only checks the files displayed, and won't go through more files unless you scroll. 2b. How about a feature to turn off the display of file durations? 3. I'd like an option to customize font color and background color of selected file, not just the files queued. 4. I'd like a 'Next' and 'Previous' button on the ID3 editor, as well as the the editor not closing when a file is updated. 5. The PE and ML scroll buttons are bigger in Winamp3. Maybe a feature to customize size. More to come, probably. |

Winamp3 died 3 years ago. All these issues and more were discussed back then.
1. Playlist sidecar is already in the wishlist. It may now be possible for it to be implemented without breaking classic skins. 2. Prefs > Titles: Read metadata when files are loaded |
