conspiracy, i tell ya! hehe
there's something fishy a-foot.. (stinky feet? hehe) in the dark halls of winamp.com...

have the skin-reviewers gone on strike or something?.. i don't expect to be notified on CNN, but maybe a little apology on the winamp main page for the reviewers lack of.. how shall we say.. "usefulness"

i was browsing through some 'new skins' yesterday, to find out what our beloved reviewers were up to.. what did i find?

about 15 main-skinned-only teeny-bopper "skins"... i use the term loosely.. (that's what you get when you let a ten-year-old loose with an unlicenced "skinner") and another batch of 3d-shiney-5-star-rips!

(i was trying not to fall off my chair when i saw a feeble pikachu - pokémon main-only skin, i was laughing SO hard!)
but in a way, i was disappointed.. i've recently sent in my own personal skin, which i made about 4 months ago.. it's a nice black number with red writing and what-not.. only PSP5 & MSPaint were used in the making of this.. and even though it's not a spectacular first attempt (as it was meant for my eyes, and my tastes only) it deserves a fudge-lot more reviewing than some of these one-click-wonder skins get, as i spent a good day making it (well.. i work quick!

in my opinion, these one-section-only skins that were made with the unlicenced Skinner should be scrapped straight away, and people who are discovered to have just ripped a skin should be blocked from entering more skins under their current IP adress..

i know.. i'm evil :-D

How many waffles will it take for us to get a "We Detest The Reviewers/Review Policies/Ripped Off Skins/Ratings System/Insert Pet Peeve Here/Skin Catagories Forum?

At the least it would be highly amusing.

I think that the public should rate the skins on a 1-5 star rating system. Then more than one persons ideas would be seen... There are allot of skins and plugins that I dissagree with the rating. Just another way to make the site even more interactive.

If you are an artist, and have had your work riped off at winamp.com, post a message around here. If you can actually prove that your skin is the original and the other one is a shameless rip, all the moderators will do their best to get the rip removed from the skin archive. The reviewers dont really have enough time to go through everything that they recieve to check if its a rip or not.
