Hypen date problem in song title?
Howdy-
I may be doing something silly but I want to name my mp3 live files like "song(2004-02-05)". Problem is when I add them to my play list in winamp it comes out like "song(2004 - 05)". How do I get around this? Thanks! |

Nevermind. Figured it out. --> $filepart(%filename%) in advanced title under preferences.

I had the same problem. And my sollution was:
Winamp - plugins (ctrl p) - Output - and use the Null Output plugin ![]() Hope this can help someone else. |

Re: Hypen date problem in song title?
I'm unclear where you are putting the name "song(2004-02-05)", in the filename or in the Title field of an ID3v1 tag.
But I tried it both places and couldn't reproduce your problem. It shows up in my playlist either way: a) File named "song(2004-02-05).mp3" with no ID3 tags is listed as "song(2004-02-05)" in the playilst. b) Any file with "song(2004-02-05)" in the Title field of an ID3v1 tag (select in the playlist and hit Alt-3 to edit) shows up as "song(2004-02-05)" in the playlist. Please reply with sufficient detail to reproduce your problem. - Rich |
