I use WILDamp because it's nice and bright, but I'm looking for a real good Kenwood amp. I have one in the car and it's lasted a lot longer than the jap brands (which was about 6 months). It has to be nice and bright for the poor old monitor - anyone got a good Kenwood? Please?

Depending on my mood, either:

SpyAmpPro
Good looking skin, but a little hard to read.

Fusion
Nice to look at and clear. Good stuff!

xerxes,
you aren't vain. You know what you like, you built what you like, and you like using it. Right On!
To me, that's one of the coolest things about the winamp....fix it up the way YOU like it!
(Needless to say, I run my own skins...)

My two favs:

MetampMorphosis http://www.winamp.com/customize/deta...ponentId=13111

BoostVIII http://misery.subnet.at/skins/boost.zip

They're nice and simple; I hate any skin based on a black background.

I use an older skin - "Da Vinci amp", I don't think it's even up at www.winamp.com - I really like it, with the old-paper look to it. "Frequency" is also a good skin.

PS: Does anyone use BoeingAmp? It's mine, and I just wanted to hear what others thought of it...

I run my "El Che ver 2.10" skin (once it was uploaded on the old winamp site, I've re-submitted on it 10 days ago...).
I like (and run) also:
mooamp, NIN, spyamp, blue 3051, advanced, GN'R's Use your illusion II, cheesyamp.
Usually, I don't like skins with "metal-stereo" texture

The old davinci skin is one of the only
5 star skins that DIDNT have a metal future
appearance to it. Great skin...

Also, my father works at a defense subcontractor that suppies Boeing with a lot
of materials; and it is right next door
from their headquarters! So he always says that boeingamp is his favorite your skin is appreciated!

Well, my honest answer is the same as a few
others... my skin is my favorite so far....
http://www.winamp.com/customize/deta...ponentId=17829
(One main reason I like mine so much is that you can actually read the playlist buttons
without putting your face up to the monitor)

However, I also like the Zelda link2thepast
skin a lot... And the Winamp98Plus....

My laptop only has 256 colors, so when I don't feel like using the base skin, I use one like Super_Mario_Bros, cause it's limited palette doesnt look like crap in 256. On the minitower though, the ruling skin is my own creation, waiting for it to be posted still, if it gets mroe than 2 stars I might tell you about it.

I'm rather fond of Angedelo, athough I also like SpyAmp in it's various forms, and basicly any amp that fits the mp3s i'm listening to at the time. I, vain bastard that I am also use NecroticAmp, my first skin. Maybe I'll submit it sometime if I ever get arount to tweaking it and adding a MB, because dammit, the world needs a Carcass skin!

I also use my own. It's called MJIFC. search for it in the skin section and download the latest version. Please tell me what I can do to improve it to make it a five-star skin (it already has 4). CU
