making sound even between left & right headset

Hey guys, I have an mp3 by Nancy Sinatra called "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), and in this song, the music is played into the right earphone of a headset while there is slight music and the voice in the left headset. This gets really annoying due to this imbalance, especially if im listening to it on an ipod and i give the other earphone to a friend to listen along with (since the left earphone gets no voice at all). I was wondering, how would i blur the sounds together in both earsets so that the left AND right both hear the music and the voice equally. Please help me out, I love this song but its so annoying to listen to on a headset. Thanks!
