Server Security

Hey guys,

I was searching threads looking for a way to allow other dj's to connect to my server at different times during the day after or before I connect. I read about how you can allow them to boot the current dj off then connect within 10 seconds. This is a great plan and sounds like it will work great, and it sounds like alot of people use this idea. However I feel edgy allowing others to acces my server controls... all I would need is a dj to connect to my server and change my passowrd or something and then.. omg... I'd be screwed...

I was wondering if anyone knows of a better, more secure way to do this?

Also on a second note, I was looking into SAM3, however I'm on an extremely tight budget (almost non existent lol) and I was wondering if anyone knows of a free alternative to this program? Also I read that the SAM3 download (demo) just puts its own add in after every ten seconds but is that all? If thats the case I'll just download it and put up with the adds lol.

Anyways thanks for the replies,

In regards to your second note: I recently bought SAM3 and love it. The demo will stop working completely after about 2 weeks I think. If you can afford it, it's really good stuff. No free alternative that I know of, but you can get a discount coupon if you contact them. 10% off is better than nothing.
