Gradient Maps

I am a little lost on gradient maps. I made a couple animated layers and I am having trouble with the maps. The slider doesnt move at the same rate as my mouse. I made the maps the same size as the sliders. Can someone please explain how the maps are made properly. Thanks

A minor variation (2 pixels or so) is normal, I guess.

in the rar your seekbar image is 240*720 px and your map is 240*10px
i take it your seek bar should be 10px high?

map - make sure your white end is completely white, use the dropper to make sure your end value is 255, 255, 255 yours ends in 251,252,251 which may explain the slight difference
