Update again: Extra Large Version
I'm done now, I swear!

Edit: Screw PDFs.
It comes out a million percent better if you print it as individual jpegs and let the computer scale it. This zip is the end of it, so help me.

No idea how it'll look in color, but I did a test page in B&W and it seems to look exactly like it should, no pixellation, clean lines, clear textures, all good. So do me a favor and throw all the pdf versions onto a pile and burn them. Zips and jpegs are where it's at, yo. Accept no imitations.

how did you PDF it? I've found that printing to PDF (like using acrobat distiller) will give you a crap quality pdf, good enough for viewing onscreen but not very good for a nice print.

illustrator indesign and photoshop have export for / save as PDF abilities that will give you a much better quality PDF that will look nice when you print it.

This looks pretty nice, did you do all the rooms yourself? I also love the clue/nerv logo switcheroo, Great job. I bet my wife and I might actually play it.
We're nerds like that.

Yeah, I downloaded a program to "print" it as a pdf, but there's no real advantage over just throwing the files into a zip, so I don't know why I bothered.
Yeah, I made all the rooms myself. To give you a sense of what I had to make from scratch, here's a breakdown of what I actually copied from screenshots:
-the floor tile in the hallway
-the floor (and furniture), curtains, walls and door of Misato's apartment
-the floor, chair, exit sign, and walls in the theatre (but not the doors, I made those)
-the little blue cabinet thing in the hospital
-pretty much the whole elevator
-the desk surface on the Bridge
-various peices of the background outside of the outer border

Just about everything else is made from scratch. The floor of Gendo's office isn't from Eva, but I didn't make it either, it's just a similar image to what seems to be on his floor. I'm most proud of the Briefing Room, all of that landscape was made from scratch.
The cards and tokens and stuff of course were made using offical art and screenshots.
Glad you like it. let me know if you play it. Hopefully I get a chance to do so this weekend... (I had somebody with a color printer print it out for me, but I gave her the stupid PDF so it came out grainy and small, and I'd feel bad asking her to waste more ink on this silly project, so hopefully I can find another way to print full-size and full-quality in time for the Dork Convention tomorrow night :P

try your local kinkos, an 11x17 print will run you about 1.50 so you could probably print the whole thing for like 6 bucks, plus you can print the cards on a card stock.

The real thing:

I'm not crazy about how the clay peices turned out, but they'll do, for now. I should ask my engineering major friends if any of their colleges have those 3D model printers...
