Way to change Shoutcast DSP input

Hi

I'm looking for a way or a software to automatically change the Shoutcast DSP input at a given time. For example, I want to automatically change the input from "Soundcard input" to "Winamp" after 60 minutes. Is this possible?

Is it possible to tell the playlist in Winamp to play a stream (e.g. http://XXX.XX.XX.X/listen.pls) for only a limited period of time? Like pretend the stream is a 60 minutes file in the playlist for example.

nope afraid not......the input is always changed manually..

unless station playlist does it or clockwheel..but i dont think they do

Leave the DSP in Soundcard mode all the time -- you can stil play WinAMP playlists and use the LineIn-put.

Don't let the playlist Loop, add MP3s as usual, and make the last entry a lineIn:// (or whatever the URL is for the WinAMP Line input plugin that comes with the DSP). When you want to switch back to the top of the WinAMP playlist, you'll have to maually skip.

*As a matter of fact, you don't even need the LineIn:// thingy, since you're in soundcard mode, just use the WinMIXer to mix-in the Line or Mic or whatever you need.

Learn how to update track titles manually, or through automation, as it wil be required to make this seamless and get track titles for the playlist files.

Realize that there are some things that will never lend themselves to automation -- The best DJ in the world is a person, a human being with ears, eyes and hands -- anything else we can code will always be second best, and just another "source app."
