Alternative to SimpleCast

Hey Folks.

I tested out the SimpleCast program today, and it'll work like a charm for what i want to do. The problem is a minor detail, but i feel its required. I'm talking about ID3/Tag updating of shoutcast streams. I fully understand why it can't pull the ID3 tags itself, so i'm wondering if there is an alternative to SimpleCast, as a plugin for WinAmp.

I can select soundcard input from the Shoutcast DSP, but it only allows me to select line in or mic, and i need to select my soundcards "What You Hear" channel. Is there a way to change this? if not, is there a plugin that i can use for winamp to maybe mix channels (what you hear -> mic)?.

Any ideas welcome.

Scott.

Yes the shoutcast DSP can work with soundcard input. You need to open up the audio mixer for your soundcard and select STEREO MIX, or WHAT YOU HEAR and winamp will pick up everything, including AIM sounds, windows sounds etc and encode them.
