Russian charset in search menu.

I know that post is crosslinked, but i can't find the right answer... I listen only russian music and this bug with search russian symbols make me feel sick...

What can i do? Can you help me? Where I can download patch?

Maybee new version of winamp can search russian symbols?

Sorry for my english... That's not my own language.

Poor non-english searching in the media library is a known (and long standing

) bug.

You're in luck, though. The programmer working on improvements to the media library is fixing the search. And he's Russian

I suspect it'll get worked out in a few versions.

That search tool UNDERSTAND russian.

and that search tool is already included in Winamp

the media library works differently and so the code in the jtfe plugin is unlikely to be that useful (and seeing as Benski helped with getting the jtfe plugin to work correctly i'm sure there won't be any issues when the media library is dealt with)
