File Refusing to show up in Media Library
I have an album in a directory. I've tried everything I can think of, but one track refuses to show up in media library. I've done "Add Media" and selected that directory. I've tried "Automatically Add Played Items to Media Library", and no Joy (although the song does play fine). I've also tried dragging and dropping into the media library. As a last resort, I've emptied the library and started from scratch, and finally upgraded to 5.22, but still nothing.
Any ideas would be greatfully receieved. I'm guessing it's something to do with the encoding, so maybe I'll try that again. Thanks Kiers |

What is the file format of this song?
mp3, wma, ogg, wav, m4a, aac, other? Any chance of zipping it up & uploading it to some webspace somewhere so we can test it for ourselves? (use one of yousendit.com or sendspace.com if you don't have anywhere of your own). Please also include Windows OS in your reply, and confirmation of a clean install of 5.22 (or preferably 5.23) with NO extra 3rd-party plugins. |
