Is Winamp in docked toolbar mode? The docked toolbar has an independent AOT mode. Try the following if using docked toolbar
Ctrl+'Right Click' on a "empty" space > Docked Toolbar > uncheck AOT
-or-

Are you using the MMD3 modern skin? MMD3 has a has semi-independent AOT setting. When it is on, Winamp's own AOT in enabled. Try the following if using the MMD3 skin...
1. if you have not done so already set it to WindowShade mode (MMD3).
2. click the CFG/CONFIG button
3. uncheck 'Allways On Top (Auto)'.

You're Welcome.

Hmmm, it may have been something else or just a one time glitch. If the issue is resolved, then all is said and done.

If you continue an issue with not being able disable AOT and it is neither of the above suggestions work, please post a reply with system specs.
