Decoder help.

Okay, first of all I am completely computer illiterate. I have winamp 5.2pro. Have been downloading music and burning cd's no problem until today. Yesterday I did some clean up on my computer and uninstalled a Music Jukebox program. that is the only think I have done different from yesterday to today. when I tried to burn a cd today I got a message saying
"decoder cannot be used to decode for burn"
I know there are already many threads addressing this and I tried lots of things but they didn't work. Do I need to upgrade to 5.3? Help please
