ASP Support

I would like to see that winamp can support asp codec. it is used by much radio stations in the netherlands and i can't use media player.

ASP... never heard of it. Got any links or anything at all besides three letters?

i don't have much info about it, i only now that it is used for gfx and radio stations like radio538.

i think that it is part of windows media codec.

asp is a server side generated page which usually produces a file after being accessed such as an asx file. my now deprecated playlist loader plugin could cope with those links as long as it generated a valid and supported format.

just had a look at the radio538 site and all i could find was the listen now thing which requires WMP to be used for it. i just couldn't find any external links for use though my language skills are rather poor

The following are for Radio538. Copy and paste either of the addresses below in to Winamp's open URL box...

http://81.173.2.10:80/radio538?MSWMExt=.asf

To use the station again in the future, you can add them to Winamp's bookmarks or save them as a playlist.
