ripping and burning with winamp Pro

I have just reinstalled Winamp pro 5.24. I had been using musicmatch but had several problems. What I am tring to do is rip Music from cd's that I own to my hardrive in mp3 format.
I have gone to winamp prefrences clicked on the encodeing tab in the dropdown box selected MP3 and set my vbr. I have ripped
30 songs tha play just fine. When I try to burn then to a blank cd I get a warning saying the 30 selected MP3 are to large for my blank cd. I have put over a hundred MP3 on 1 blank disc before using other software before.
I am not a newbe at burning wav or MP3 I have burned many.
I have tried several blank disk to make sure it not the disc.
I havnt used winamp very long So I could be making a basic mistake. Anybody that has ripped and burned mp3 to a disc thanks for you help. Is their something else I should be doing to make thps work?

Winamp currently only burns Audio CD's, not data/iso/mp3 CD's.
So if the 30 mp3's add up to more than 80 minutes (which is highly likely), then that's why you're getting the error.

Yes, but it only burns MP3 to Audio CD, not to Data CD.

Yes, but you can only get 80 minutes worth of music on an Audio CD (ie. a blank CD-R disc), so unless each song is only 2 minutes long, you're not gonna get 40 songs on a CD.
