How do you use a proxy with SHOUTcast?

I'm not comfortable with people getting my IP address, and I haven't found a way to use a proxy IP with shoutcast, is it possible, and if so, how?

thanks

You would need to find someone willing to run a SHOUTcast Proxy and connect it to your server, so people can connect to it. Though, you won't be listed in the SHOUTcast Directory if you do that.

Google: SHOUTcast Proxy

And your IP isn't some holy secret. Every website you go to knows it. Any moderator here can see it. As long as you keep up on your updates and run some firewall and use common sense you have nothing to worry about. But if you don't want someone seeing your IP, you probably shouldn't be running a server on the Internet.
