Well, of course not.
You can download the SHOUTcast DSP and the DNAS from www.shoutcast.com

You can listen to SHOUTcast with Winamp just fine, but to make SHOUTcast streams, it requires extra downloads. The SHOUTcast DSP and DNAS has never been bundled with Winamp.

Then you are in the wrong forum, as this is for people running streams.

The radio and TV streams are in the "Online Services" section of Winamp's Media Library as "Internet TV" and "Internet Radio"

omfg....

LISTEN.

Winamp can tune into SHOUTcast streams. No software or no option is requires for that functionality. Swag is correct. You installed winamp, go to www.shoutcast.com and tune in to what ever you want.

Plus, you posted this questions in the SHOUTcast tech support, FOR BROADCASTERS. So, yes, swag had every right to think you were trying to broadcast something.

This is a winamp issue ONLY and it is not even really much of an issue.

yes i know UJ thats what i got, obviously by the picture that i posted, but it didnt have it in the install package, i was wondering if winamp messed up and forgot to put it in there, or if it wasnt put in the install package on purpose, next time read every post before you decide to post trying to help, this prevents things from being said numerous times, and also from irrelevent information

It is there. SHOUTcast Radio/TV, Winamp Music/Video, and the AOL Radio/Video are all part of the 'Online Media' selection in the 'Winamp Library' branch. If you uncheck 'Online Media', you will not get SHOUTcast Radio/TV.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

I did see your reply to UJ, but not until after my first reply was posted. I did not see it before, because you and I posted almost at the same time of each other (within less then a minute). Also, I did see the your screenshot.

However, what was mentioned in my first reply is still true. SHOUTcast Radio/TV is included with the 'Online Media' choice in the installer. You screenshot shows 'Online Media' as one of the selections. SHOUTcast Radio/TV is just listed as a individual option under 'Online Media'.

[edit]
Whoops, there we go posting at the same time again

Sorry for the typo. That should have been "SHOUTcast Radio/TV is just not listed as a individual option under 'Online Media'".

What is everything you see in the left hand pane of the Media Library, then? Do you see the 'Online Services' sections? Is there anything under it?

See this screenshot of the Media Library.

If you don't see SHOUTcast TV, click on Online Services then click on the Video tab in the right plane and make sure the box is checkmarked.

If you don't see SHOUTcast Radio, click on Online Services then click on the Music tab in the right plane and make sure the Internet Radio box is checkmarked.

Odd, Online Services in the Media Library (and Plug-ins > Media Library) should be there with Winamp 5.24. Try a full uninstall > reinstall (AKA clean install) of Winamp. Also, maybe you will have better luck with installing Winamp 5.25 beta.

BTW, to avoid any additional confusion, SHOUTcast Wire is Winamp’s Podcast support.

You probably deleted Winamp\Plugins\ml_online.dll
because if you kept 'Online Media' checkmarked in the Installer Options, then that file must be there, but isn't.

If ml_online.dll is present, but isn't loading, then you will need to provide more info (my_plugin_list.txt & htj logs would be a good place to start).

*/ Sorry for the confusion earlier. I'm using Firefox and don't have images showing here. Unless you actually refer to a screenshot in the text there's I've no way of knowing you've posted one /*
