Media Library bug??

Over the last 2 versions of WinAmp (5.25 and 5.30) the Media Library does not show the correct track length time for any ripped MP3's I add to the Library...

I use Audio Grabber to rip the MP3's from CD, and Media Monkey to manage my MP3 library (downloading to an MP3 player and burning backup CD's...)

Audio Grabber, Media Monkey and Windows Media Player all show the correct track length time. WinAmp shows the correct time when playing a track but reverts back to the incorrect time when the track finishes or is stopped.

Even loading an MP3 into Audacity shows the correct time...

I've attached a screen dump to show what I mean.

Before I log a bug report, has anyone else had this problem?

Hi.

How do we reproduce the problem? Because currently, we can't.

Please confirm whether the problem occurs after a clean install of Winamp 5.3 with no 3rd-party plugins, and a freshly loaded local media databse.

Update:
I did some further 'research' and found that it has been happening only to ripped mp3's for the last 3 days....

Three days ago I updated LameENC.dll v1.32 engine v3.96 to LameENC.dll engine to v3.97, the latest version.

I have tried re-ripping/encoding some of the MP3's using Lame 3.96 and the track time shows correctly in WinAmp Media Library, on a clean install of WinAmp 5.30 with no third party plugins, But still shows incorrectly when they are ripped/encoded using LameENC.dll v3.97...

As the other programs I use to manage the MP3 files show the correct track time when encoded with LameENC.dll v3.96 or v3.97 it would seem that the WinAmp Media Library may not be reading mp3's encoded with LameENC.dll v3.97 correctly.

I have rolled back to using LameENC.dll v3.96 for encoding Mp3 files for the time being...

Strange. Winamp 5.3 comes with & uses lame_enc.dll v3.97 Final.
And I can't see any issues here. CD's are ripped perfectly, and all the track times are correct.

What ripper & settings are you using?

Can you provide us with a link to a sample file?

I use AudioGrabber (http://www.audiograbber.com********/)
with these settings to encode MP3's from the grabbed wav file:

# Constant bit rate 192 Kbits
# Joint Stereo
# Normal quality
# Bitstream Flag: original.

Is it a sample MP3 file you'd like a link to?
