does that host support php scripts? OK well, I checked and it does.

Do you hvae the php script configured correctly???

Actually.... this is more of a problem for wicked-hosting as they are the only ones that are going to really know how their servers work...

yeah the script works right and why is this a problem for WH? the shoutcast server is on ports 8000 and 8001, and works, and the rest of the checking script works, it has nothing to do with wicked hosting.. they supply a linux VPS server with php enabled..

any ideas?

The PHP script is obviously configured incorrectly or poorly written since it can not recognize a running server.

Post the code related to SHOUTcast, or there's not much we can do here -- This happens all the time, it's ALWAYS misconfiguration or just weak coding at the root of the problem.

Whomever wrote the PHP script is really who you should contact.

It's not a SHOUTcast issue.

* I hate when someone says "Any Ideas?" when they need a specific answer.

* one more "idea" -- a DNAS sans source has a status of "Down" even though the DNAS is actually running -- A good [well-written] PHP script can recognize this and output a useful message -- unfortunately, most do not.
