I need help???

I'm new in this about the DJ and server broadcast
I'm setting up a internet radio station.I install but, I have seening two problems 1-.the SHOUTcast interface shows
on the Output tab status connecting and disconecting intermitent 2-.401 Service Unavailable message.
now I want to know how to start the server because the instruction just tell how to showtdown but not how to start
or restart. please any advice.

Well if all you have is winamp with the plugin you need more. You need to have a shoutcast server to connect to.

run sc_serv (server) on the same PC as winamp, and use localhost as the IP address.

Error 401 means that there is no server, or the server does n to have a stream currently connected to it.

Also dont try to listen and broadcast using winamp, as you may disconnect yourself
