Redirecting to another shoutcast server?
ok, so i am running a station like evenings only.
http://www.diorsplace.com:8000/listen.pls is there any way, i have it set up, so if I am not running my server (which will be most of the time), i can have it redirect to 4chan.org radio? that runs at http://www.no-sry.net:10000/listen.pls can i manually make a pls file on my server, with contents http://www.no-sry.net:10000/listen.pls ? i guess i can try now, but what gets me the the port 8000, how can i get this to redirect to a pls file i have on my computer? |

simplest answer as you already pointed out is to create a .pls file with your server's IP as the first entry and the secondary / backup server as the second entry
Mouse to Mouse Solutions Ltd - www.mouse-mouse.co.uk - enhanced products now available - M2M Autopilot with crossfade - Port 80 streaming - Pay-as-you-go streaming Double or Quit promotion - 100% extra listener slots FREE |

www.diorsplace.com/listen.pls (this file contains secondary server) and the user types www.diorsplace.com:8000/listen.pls will ilt still evoke the listen.pls file I put, or the automatic one the server detects (lets say the server is off disabled) ok, well i guess i can start to play with this and experiment for myself I appreciate the reply |
