my main screen disappeared...new to the forum

Well, I was playing a video last night on Winamp and it was covering past the whole screen (laptop) and so I moved the window up a little and pressed something and the main window disappeared! And I don't know how to get it back! Music and videos will still play, but I don't know why or where! How can I get it back?

Try Alt+W to toggle the main window. No luck?....

well

believe me, I tried checking next to the Main Window option, I tried Alt + W, and nothing is working. I rememeber clicking a button with a [^] on it and it went away. But I don't know what the button is for!

It is not that I am trying to doubt you, however have you tried deleting the studio.xnf file, while Winamp is not running?

Simple no luck at all? Have you tried a clean install of Winamp? Or, please provide system & Winamp specs.

well

from what i read in the link, the studio.xnf file is for the playlist and media library, and not for the main window.

Studio.xnf governs all default Winamp modern skin windows. Based on your thread so far, it sounds like you are using a modern skin, perhaps the Default Modern.
