My Mic Wont Work!
can someone tell me how to set up my mic to use with shoutcast? i hold talk and lock it and it dosent pic up my voice. i have my mic in. is there anything special i need to do?

Hey there.
This is going to be a simple fix. It will work, but if you want it to work through soundcard mode ask someone else. But this is how I am using it. Open up Shoutcast Source - Input On the input device box click down and choose soundcard. Now speak into your mic, no music playing and see if the green bars move. If they do then all you have to do when you want to speak is change the input to Soundcard, and change it back when playing music. If it doesn't. Click on Open Mixer. And two windows should appear. On the Recording control one, make sure the mic volume is around the middle or to full and then try speaking into the mic. Make sure that it's plugged in through the right area in your computer. And that it has been set up right. USB mics don't work too well. Try these steps and if it doesn't work report back. Samie |
